2000/07/24 Webserver and FTP-server off-line for several days. Servers restarted on 2000/07/26. Sorry, hadn't noticed it before. The e-mail server was operational all the time.
2000/04/30 Power failure in server. Service unavailable between April 29, 2000 22:00 hrs till April 30, 2000 11:00 hrs.

2000/04/17 Unexplained network errors (LAN). Outside service interrupted shortly. Power supply troubles in the primairy server.

2000/01/01 As expected: no problems at all!

1999/08/23 KHOE.net will be down on wednesday, August 25, 1999. The power infrastructure will be changed, so: no Internet, no phone, no fax. You can reach me by GSM, though.

1999/08/20 KHOE.net will be, save disasters and maintenance, up 24hrs a day, seven days a week. The building of KHOE.net is now totaly protected against lightning and other power surges.
KHOE.net will be down next week (probably) for one day because of more infrastructural changes (more electricity maingroups).

1999/07/05 NedStat has trouble servicing theire pageview counter. I guess I am not allowed to complain, because it's a free service but on soe days it hasn't registered anything (it is possible, though, that noone visited ;-). This morning it didn't count (6:40 hrs).

1999/07/04 I don't think we can speak about incidents anymore: my DNS-provider has again trouble hosting my khoe.net-domain. Problems started at about 9:30 hrs. Problem seems to be resolved at 11:30 hrs.
BTW: my mirror-site isn't working properly either, but that's no problem ... it isn't reachable either (yes, I know, I have to redesign this system)... tnx MyInternet!

1999/06/29 Trouble again with my DNS-provider. Don't know what's happening. According to MyInternet there are probably problems with my caching ... NOT! Using low level Unix-commands I can't reach my site either.

1999/06/23 My DNS-hosting service had a problem. My KHOE.net-domain was about a day not reachable. This means that all my hostst (ending with khoe.net) seemed to be 'dead'. I was still reachable through my IP-address, though.

1999/04/16 My DNS-hosting service had a problem. My KHOE.net-domain was about half a day (between thursday, April 14 from about 12:00 hrs till friday, April 15 about 5:00 hrs) not reachable. This means that all my hostst (ending with khoe.net) seemed to be 'dead'. I was still reachable through my IP-address, though.

1999/03/24 It seems that NedStat (my pageview counter) has been out on March 22, 1999.
My Web-server wasn't working at 7:00 hours ths morning. Don't know exactly how long the Web-server was out.

1999/03/22 My Internet Service Provider had some problems; my connection was out between (about) 17:00 hours and 18:30 hours.

1999/03/19 Images on the mirror will not display due to a redesign of the directorystructure on the primary-site. This problem will be solved, but it isn't considered a priority one problem!

1999/03/14 Services were not available between 8:30 hours ans 10:00 hours due to backup and file system optimalization.

1999/03/04 Had to reboot the server several times between 19:00 hours and 20:00 hours due to reconfiguration of network settings.

1999/03/03 Upgraded the Internet-server with disk space and memory.
Solved my e-mail problem ... I hope. Due to a configuration error in my mail server I received something like a mail bomb from one of my providers (xs4all.nl). Not their mistake, but mine ;-) The trouble was they changed the name of their pop-server (was announced, but who reads announcements? ;-) and they send every user who accesses the wrong server a friendly message. Guess what happens when you check your mail (server) automatically every 12 minutes, with a retry of about 5 times?
Restoration of my e-mail caused some big performance problems for my other services. By the way: I might have lost some e-mail! Especially when your message was smaller than 1Kb!

1999/03/02 My mail server isn't working properly (it drags down system performance considerably; you probably couldn't access any of the services today). I only check my e-mail at chow@xs4all.nl and all of my khoe.net-accounts.

1999/02/26 Rescheduling of hardware maintenance. Due to unavailability of components, the server will be upgraded on wednesday March 3, 1999. Probably between 13:00 hours and 18:00 hours. All services will be available on sunday February, 28 1999!
Services were down today between about 12:00 hours en 14:30 hours.

1999/02/25 Scheduled: shutdown of all services at sunday February, 28 1999 (hardware maintenance). Services will be down from 09:00 hours till 12:00 hours (if possible, service will commence at an earlier moment). The mirror-site is avaliable (but some area's and services are only available on my primary server).

1999/02/23 Primary site of KHOE.net was not available between 06:00 hrs and 15:30 hrs.
At about 20:00 hrs I rebooted the Web-server due to a directory switch.
